KINGSTON, Jamaica; Armed with a selection of hit singles and albums, backed by numerous awards and a reputation for energy-charged performances, international reggae icon Sean Paul is in full effect for Reggae Sumfest 2014.

Over the decades Reggae Sumfest has featured its fair share of international superstars including Usher, Chris Brown, Flo Rida, Miguel and Ne-Yo and will now once again present jamaica’s own multiplatinum, Grammy Award winning international reggae star Sean Paul.
The artiste’s social media pages came ablaze with the announcement on Friday when the artiste posted a video declaring that he will be back on the festival. This will mark Sean Paul’s first time in a decade performing on the Sumfest stage and the multifaceted singer, songwriter, musician and producer, is expected to bring the set that has excited millions of fans around the world to, Catherine Hall on International Night 2, Saturday, July 19.
He returns to the stage in his home country as a global ambassador for Jamaica.  "I'll be bringing the love the world has shown for reggae music home," Sean Paul said of his performance.

The Got 2 Luv U singer will take his unique style to the stage, performing with the full backing of the Badda Banz band.
